Be a Notary ‘In the Know’!

Spring is in the air—and so is the urge to clean and reset, but did you know spring cleaning actually began in the Bible? That’s right……..as they began to prepare for the Passover every year, they were instructed to remove all the leaven in their homes. Why? Because, at this sacred time of the year, it symbolizes the removal of sin and reminds us of new beginnings, refreshes our spirit, and renews our passion.

G-d wants us to apply this “spring cleaning” to every area of our lives, including our businesses. What if we took time to remove the “leaven” from our professional lives? Leaven isn’t always obvious, but it can, it will, and it does weigh us down or lead us off course, especially as an entrepreneur. What are some of these things that need to be removed?

• Hidden Inefficiencies

• Outdated systems

• Habits that no longer serve

• Unethical compromises

• Fear that holds us back

• Comparison, jealousy or striving

Replace them with:

• Clarity

• Integrity

• Intention

• Time Management

• Healthy habits

• Confidence

• Purpose

Tomorrow is the beginning of a new week, so start over with a new beginning, refresh the vision you once had for your notary business, and then pursue it with a passion!! But today, today is a day of resurrection, reflection, and deep gratitude for redemption. We want to encourage you to reflect on the holiness of that and not just bunnies and eggs. May this sacred season fill your heart with a renewed purpose that we serve a risen King.

Tip of the Week

Networking

As you look at your notary business and begin to do your spring cleaning. Don’t forget that this is a great time of the year to begin to network with other businesses in your community. Take a minute to go to a council meeting, join the Chamber of Commerce, join a BNI group, check your local library for upcoming events. Just because you have some business cards and a website does not mean that people know that you are out there. As an entrepreneur, you are the product. You have to sell yourself.
